In 2023, a new player entered the event solutions arena: Stand Out Hire. Born from a vision to simplify and elevate event experiences, Stand Out Hire was founded with the goal of providing fully managed services that take the hassle out of event planning. From the outset, the company established a reputation for transparent and inclusive pricing, ensuring that clients always know exactly what to expect without any hidden costs.

COLE FELLOWS
I founded Stand Out Hire along side Jeremy & Phil in 2022, building on our 20 years of organising events we’re constantly looking to maximise the impact our exhibition areas have on everyone involved so naturally it led us to lightboxes. I work closely with clients to develop their exhibition areas using their input and our experience to continue developing our lightboxes and additional products.
On the rare occasion I get to leave the office I enjoy spending time with wife and son, mastering the Art of the Barbecue, and all things technology. I live in a quiet countryside village, which is home to the first community-owned pub in Herefordshire, which I am duty bound to support (although not as often as I’d like nowadays!).
Business Development Manager
OSCAR LYWOOD
As a Business Development Manager in the vibrant events industry, I specialise in providing businesses with our modern, sleek and professional Lightbox Exhibition stands that help elevate success and presence at their event.
Outside the office you’ll find me either on the mountain bike trails, carving turns down ski slopes or just embracing any adrenaline fuelled adventure that comes my way (including the pub).

PHIL MIDDLETON
Co-founder and director of The Insurance Network, and Stand Out Hire Ltd. With a background in nightlife as well as B2B conferences and exhibitions, I have broad experience of the events industry. I look after the relationship with sponsors for TIN, and oversees sales and business development for both companies.
Outside of work, I am happily married with two teenage daughters and can be found raising money for Stump Up for Trees, organising and skippering the Ludlow Nomads Cricket Club, tending my overgrown garden, DJing and adding to my vinyl mountain. Occasionally I like riding my bike round in circles for the good of my health. Other interests mainly focus around good company, good food and good wine (not necessarily in order of priority).
Non-Executive Director
JEREMY BURGESS
Born in the midlands, quickly removed to Denmark (where I gained my blond hair) I then returned to Cardiff before spending my formative years in the north west.
I set up Stand Out Hire alongside Phil as a spin off from The Insurance Network, a strategy and bench marking forum for Director level executives from the insurance sector to explore and discuss challenges facing their industry.
Today, as an international man of (little) mystery, I’m consumed by tennis (a new hobby), cycling, football (an old one), cars (generally fast and shiny), food and wine.
On days off I follow orders from my family and enjoy misquoting film lines.
